The Night the Day Was Broken

Our brand new escape room is almost open, and will be FREE for Hackney families to enjoy this summer.

This summer we are launching our very own escape room at Ministry of Stories HQ, created in partnership with professional escape room creator Jay Harris.

Step through the secret door on Hoxton Street into a fictional world that’s been imagined by 11-15 year old writers and enjoy 45-minutes of puzzle solving adventures with your friends and family.

What’s an escape room? It’s an interactive adventure game. You’ll have a challenge to complete, clues to find and puzzles to solve. We’ll be on hand to give you help and hints and you can leave at any point if you need to!

When: Tuesdays to Saturdays through the whole of August. There are four time slots each day. The game takes 30 – 45 minutes to play.

Where: Meet at Ministry of Stories / Hoxton Street Monster Supplies, 159 Hoxton Street, N1 6PJ.

Who: The game is for families. We’ve created the experience with children aged 8+ in mind but younger siblings are welcome if you think they’ll enjoy it. Maximum six people per group.

Every group must include at least one adult who can supervise.

Cost: Free!

How do we book?
